If you’re looking for a unique thrill that can only be found in Dubai, it’s time to leave the open road and head for the desert. Here, you’ll find a Dune Buggy Adventure unlike anything you’ll experience anywhere else.

Set in the Lisaili camp just a short drive from the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, the Dune Buggy Adventure spans across a path of bumps, turns, pivots and dunes that make for the perfect circuit to experience a different kind of open road.

The Dune Buggy Adventure in Dubai begins with transfers to and from your hotel or residence directly to the Lisaili Camp. If you’re joining us on a passenger experience, your transfer is the calmer form of chauffeur service you’ll enjoy! If you’re getting behind the wheel, your transfer is an opportunity to build your anticipation for the drive.

We follow a set path on the Dune Buggy Adventure, comprised of thrills and turns that create an exhilarating journey across the desert dunes. As for the dune buggy – they will be like nothing you’ve ever experienced before! They are a vehicle specially adapted for the desert, including wider tyres, larger wheels, and an open frame lined with reinforced barring to create a cocoon shape around the driver.

Before beginning your Dune Buggy Adventure in Dubai, you will receive a full safety briefing from a member of our experienced driving team. They know the dunes like the back of their hand, and will clearly show you how to enjoy your drive safely. At this point, safety equipment will be handed out and you’ll be ready to hit the dunes.

You will follow an Arabian Adventures instructor along the dune buggy circuit, keeping good distance to ensure you’re able to feel the rush at every opportunity. The full session will last for up to 2 hours.

Your safety on the dunes is our top priority. If we feel you are acting in an unsafe manner or putting the safety of the group at risk, we reserve the right to stop your participation in the activity. We encourage all guests to enjoy a thrilling drive responsibly.

Know before you go

• The Dune Buggy Adventure takes place in Lisaili, in a location separate to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve. Your activity includes transfers to and from Lisaili
• A security deposit of AED 5,000 is required for driver experiences and will be collected prior to the beginning of the activity. This will be returned as soon as the activity is completed with no damages. The deposit is to ensure the safety of both the guests and the equipment
• Transfers to the Dune Buggy Adventure are in a shared vehicle
• We recommend comfortable clothing for this experience, including modest dress and comfortable shoes
• Guests with pre-existing medical conditions and expectant mothers are not advised to participate in this activity
• The Arabian Adventures team reserve the right to stop your participation in the activity if we deem you to be acting in an unsafe manner. Please follow the safety instructions provided by the team before the activity begins to ensure an enjoyable experience which doesn’t compromise your safety

Age policy

• The minimum age requirement for drivers participating in any driver experience is 16 years old, and must possess a valid driver’s license from their country of residence
• Non-driving passengers accompanying the lead buggy must be at least 6+ and need to be seated with the adult accompanying them
• Children aged between 6-13 can join the experience as non-drivers, only in a private vehicle with an adult from their group

Cancellation policy

• We understand that plans can change. If they do, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to your activity. We will not be able to process refunds for bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before your activity starts
• Full payment for your booking is required at least two days prior to your activity. If payment is not received before the expected date, we reserve the right to cancel your activity
• In exceptional circumstances, we may need to amend the Dune Buggy Adventure schedule or cancel the activity entirely. We reserve the right to amend and cancel activities in such circumstances, and will ensure we communicate any changes in advance where possible
• The Dune Buggy Adventure is subject to cancellation if weather conditions are not suitable. While we do our best to prepare for any adverse weather in advance, activities may be amended or cancelled as a result of bad weather
